Free Admission for Hurricane Idalia FEMA Assistance Counties

We understand that facing the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia has been tough on everyone in our community, and we believe that a little adventure, laughter, and fun can go a long way in helping you heal and recover. That's why we're thrilled to extend a warm welcome to our neighbors affected by Hurricane Idalia.

We're here to offer some well-deserved time away. If you reside in one of the counties eligible for Hurricane Idalia FEMA disaster assistance, you and up to six members of your party can enjoy a day of adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories - on us!

How to Claim Your Free Admission:

  1. Visit Wild Adventures Theme Park Sept. 23 - 24, 2023. Please view our Operating Calendar for park hours to help plan your visit.
  2. Bring proof of your residence, such as a driver’s license, government ID, or a utility bill.
  3. Take your proof of residence to one of our ticket booths or Guest Services to receive your free admission for you and up to six people in your party. All of your party must be present with you in order to also receive free admission.

Free admission will be offered to first responders, utility workers and residents in a county designated by FEMA as eligible to receive Hurricane Idalia disaster assistance.

Who qualifies as a first responder?
Wild Adventures recognizes first responders as defined by the online support organization ID.me, and those professions include:

LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
Police Officers (Federal, State, and Local) - Active & Retired
Sheriff / Sheriff's Deputy
Correctional Officer
State Trooper
Federal Law Enforcement Officer (for example, Customs & Border Protection Officer, Air Marshal, etc.)
Park Police & Park Rangers
Probation & Parole Officers
Bridge and Tunnel Officers
Detention Officers
Railroad Police Officers
School Resource Officers
Auxiliary & Reserve Sheriff Deputy or Police Officers
Animal Control Officers who are credentialed as a Law Enforcement Officer
Fire Marshals who are certified Law Enforcement Officers
Court Bailiffs/Court Officers (must be hold law enforcement credentials)

If you are a resident of an eligible county, you will receive free admission for yourself and up to (6) people in your party. Everyone in your party must be present when your residency is established to receive free admission. Free admission for additional members of you party cannot be granted at a separate time.

If you are a first responder or utility worker and provide proof of employment, you will receive free admission for yourself and up to (6) people in your party. Everyone in your party must be present when your occupation is established to receive free admission. Free admission for additional members of you party cannot be granted at a separate time.
