Check The Park Schedule & Weather Before Your Visit This might feel like a ‘no-brainer’ to some of our readers, but Wild Adventures isnt open every day For our 2025 Season we will be open 169 days out of the year. Splash Island’s Operation Hours differ from Wild Adventures as well. The entire 2025 Operation Calendar for both Wild Adventures Theme Park and Splash Island Waterpark is posted on our website to download here, but you can find our hours at any time on Google or our Facebook Page.
Checking the weather before your visit is also a great rule of thumb. The chance of rain shouldn’t greatly affect your visit, as most of our rides and shows continue to operate in the event of rain, however, the presence of lightning and severe weather can. Safety remains our number one priority at Wild Adventures, and to ensure the safety of our guests, animals, and employees, certain rides may temporarily close until it is safe to open. If the park must close early due to the weather, we will notify our guests through social media posts and website notifications. Pack and Plan Accordingly
You can bring unopened bottles of water into the park, or one of our signature souvenir cups to get free refills at all of our restaurants, refill stations, and self-serve, free-style machines.
Wearing layered but light clothing and comfortable shoes is also important. Wild Adventures is 170 acres of rides, slides, animals and more. You will be spending a lot of your time walking outdoors and need to prepare for that.
Applying sunscreen before your visit, and after exiting any water rides or slides is crucial. If you forgot your sunscreen at home, that’s okay! You can pick some up Blue Lizard Sunscreen from Adventure Emporium, Expedition Market, Safari Outfitters, or Wave Gear.
Purchase Admission Ahead of Your Visit Don’t spend your visit waiting in lines! Purchasing your Admission Tickets or Season Passes online is encouraged.
You receive a discount on admission when purchasing online and in advance. The only things not included with Daily Admission to Wild Adventures is food, souvenirs, and pay-extra attractions like Geronimo, as well as concerts. All other rides and attractions, including Splash Island Waterpark, are included with your park admission or Season Pass.
If you haven't already had your Season Pass photo taken and pass printed, we recommend you call ahead, and find a day to do so before your visit, or arriving as early as possible so that you have more time to play and spend less time waiting in lines.
4Arrive Early As mentioned previously, arriving early is always a great idea, but there are more reasons than admission and Season Passes to arrive early.
Better Parking! Not only is arriving early a great idea for those who want better parking but on days we anticipate high attendance, like on Saturdays or during concert days, you have opportunity to ask for Preferred Parking. This is on a first come first basis, so arriving early is imperative.
Meet & Greets - During the first hour of opening, guests can experience early arrival perks like exclusive animal encounters with some of our Animal Ambassadors or meet & greets with mascots and seasonal characters.
