Tyrannosaurus Rex

Tyrannosaurus Rex, the "tyrant lizard king," reigned over Late Cretaceous North America. Fossils in the Hell Creek Formation showcase its immense size and powerful jaws. Standing up to 20 feet tall and 40 feet long, T. rex was a top predator, likely scavenging and hunting other dinosaurs.
