Guests Can Now Round Up Online Purchases to Support the Annual Christmas Tree Village

VALDOSTA, Ga. – This holiday season, Wild Adventures Theme Park is teaming up with Greater Valdosta United Way to raise funds for Impact Partner Nonprofits through the annual Christmas Tree Village with a new twist.

“For several years, our Christmas Tree Village has provided a unique way for our guests to experience the joy of the season while supporting the incredible missions of our local Greater Valdosta United Way Impact Partners Nonprofits,” said Jon Vigue, vice president and general manager.

During Wild Adventures Christmas, the Christmas Tree Village will feature tree standees designed by Greater Valdosta United Way Impact Partners. These trees are crafted to reflect each organization’s mission, creating a festive and inspiring walk-through experience for guests. Visitors will also have the option to make a donation via QR code to vote for their favorite tree, helping raise funds directly for the participating Impact Partners.

During Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright guests will have the ability to participate in ways they hadn’t before. Those purchasing tickets, season passes, or holiday items on the Wild Adventures’ official website will have the option to round up their purchases to support Greater Valdosta United Way, allowing visitors to make an impact both in-park and from their homes.

“We’re excited to introduce the online roundup option this year to give even more people a chance to contribute, whether they’re planning a trip to the park or simply purchasing a holiday gift,” said Vigue.

The Greater Valdosta United Way serves communities across eleven South Georgia counties, coordinating volunteers and funding more than 44 social service programs across 23 Impact Partners Nonprofits. Each year, the funds raised through Christmas Tree Village directly support these programs, providing essential resources to nonprofits that enhance the quality of life throughout the region.

“The dedication and generosity of Wild Adventures guests and team members make a huge difference in the lives of those we serve, and we’re thrilled to continue this partnership,” said Michael Smith, president and ceo of Greater Valdosta United Way. “With the addition of the roundup option, even more people can support our Impact Partners’ work, from providing shelter and food to educational programs and crisis response.”

In previous years, participating Impact Partners have included Jacobs’ Ladder Therapeutic Riding Center, the American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta, The Haven Battered Women's Shelter, and Youth Impact Center, among others. Last year, guests’ donations helped fund vital services such as after-school care, counseling, and emergency relief efforts.
