Wild Adventures Offers Free Admission To Community Heroes

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Ga., invites guests to make a splash one last time this Labor Day weekend with half off admission with food donations and complimentary admission offers. 

From August 31 through September 2, visitors can enjoy the final days of the 2024 Season of Splash Island Waterpark while taking advantage of special offers, including free admission for military personnel, first responders, healthcare workers, and educators. Additionally, all guests can receive 50% off admission with a donation of non-perishable food items.

"Every year, we dedicate this weekend to showing our appreciation for those who devote their lives to serving our community," said Madison Tucker, public relations specialist.

In recognition of their service, qualifying individuals will receive free admission throughout the holiday weekend. 

All guests can enjoy a 50% discount on single-day admission when they bring non-perishable food items valued at $10 or more. These donations will benefit Second Harvest of South Georgia, helping to stock their food pantry as the fall season approaches.

“Wild Adventures is proud to partner with Second Harvest of South Georgia, offering our guests a chance to save while giving back,” said Tucker. “Every donation this Labor Day Weekend will directly support families in need, and we’re grateful every year for the tons of food our guests donate.”

Labor Day Weekend also marks the final opportunity for guests to experience Dinosaur Explore, a unique attraction featuring life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, a dino dig site, and a show with baby dinosaurs. 

"Dinosaur Explore has been a hit with visitors of all ages," said Tucker. "It offers an engaging, educational experience that brings the prehistoric world to life. We encourage everyone to visit before this incredible attraction goes extinct."

As summer comes to a close, guests can enjoy a full weekend of fun at Wild Adventures and Splash Island Waterpark. Splash Island will close after Labor Day in preparation for Wild Adventures' upcoming fall events, including Great Pumpkin LumiNights featuring the Pumpkin Spice Festival and Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright..
